Dash Between The Dates

"Life": A principle or force that is considered to underlie the distinctive quality of animate beings.

"Journey": The act of traveling from one place to another, a long trip, or a figurative process of personal growth and change.

From the first breath we take to the final closing of our eyes, we experience what we deem as "life". Often described as the "dash between the dates" on many of tombstones. Entailing all we "know" of existence as a whole, summing up our entire observable reality.

Us as experiencers, searching for something real and tangible. Aiming to avoid that by which we believe harms our beingyet often seeking to "feel" more.

May us as travelers on this journey experience these things together, not orphaned as many of us intend. In a constant effort to be more human, more real.
