[ESC]Abstractions
"Abstraction" - "The quality of representing an idea, concept, or feeling rather than a physical or concrete object, or the process of removing unnecessary details to focus on essential features"
What we know now both individually and collectively is vastly built on knowledge we will never have. Abstraction on top of abstraction.
We build, create, learn, grow, fail, succeed all based on notions we have of what's in front of us. Rarely realizing the knowledge and multitude of domains of expertise it took us to get there.
Modern technology may be one of the best examples of that, one may understand how to write software but not the firmware. Processes but not the compiler. Back and back until we reach where the beginning of all of the elements being gathered or developed.
May we, dear fellow traversers of this confusing existence, be humbled by the knowledge and sacrifice it took to give us this life. From people we've never met, and ideas we'll never understand.
