No longer talk at all about the kind of man that a good man ought to be, but be such.
For a long time I worked as a freelance illustrator. I created a few artworks depicting "Lord of the Rings" in an "Ukiyo-e" style. The idea behind it was that the events that occurred in "Middle-earth" impacted the East as well, and I imagined an eastern traveler who heard these stories and the bravery of the heroes in them, returned home and told them to the people in the East. The artists in the East then depicted these stories in their style. My goal with the artworks was also for it to look authentic,...
Endlessly controversial, but undeniably talented, Burzum has made some of the most influential black metal albums, and Dunkelheit remains one of the most atmospheric and immersive black metal songs out there.
If my username did not make it obvious, Ergo Proxy is one of my favorite anime of all time. The intro song beautifully captures the feeling throughout the show. There is not much I can say about it besides that it is well worth the watch. It is difficult to explain but there is something special about it, like the "ether" that is talked about in the movie "All about lily chou chou".
While bôa are most well known for their song "Duvet" from their album "Twilight" (that was used for the intro to the amazing anime "Serial Experiments Lain), few people venture past this first song. The rest of the album is just as good, if not better. This song is particularly good in my opinion, along with the titular song "twilight". Their other album from around the same era "Get There" is also worth a listen for anyone who enjoyed "Twilight".
**“Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.” **

In my opinion Bathory's most underrated (and potentially my favorite) album. There isn't really a single song that can be listened entirely on it's own since it each song forms part of a larger story within the album. Whenever I start listening to this album I am compelled to not stop listening until the end.
