I'm an amateur C++ and Lua dev, and I'm also interested in gaming. I have other hobbies like drawing artwork, and I'm getting interested in making music-related stuff. I'm developing my own game engine named del-exec, which I intend on using it for original stuff and Sonic fangames. Thanks for stopping by!
I thought about how the moon I see today is the same moon people thousands of years ago saw and that made me feel something I can't describe
For anyone into downloading mods for Sonic games, I'd like to inform y'all that the Sonic Hacking Contest 2026 will begin in October 23rd. Actually, as I'm sending this, it should be in exactly a day (37 minutes less but who cares)
What makes a person... a person?
Is it their memories? Their brain? Their entire body?
Or is it something that can't be described, that we can only go off vibes?
If it's something physical, how much could theoretically be "replaced" before we turn a person into a different person?
Why do I have these kinds of thoughts when I'm meant to be sleeping?
I was going to code something, but I forgot what it was and now I'm coding something else because I had forgotten it before and only now remembered it
I'm considering making del-exec's source code public before I truly "finish" it, so people could try it out (If you're wondering what del-exec is, it's my game framework)
I likely won't accept direct contributions to the code, as I quite like having every single line being written by me (writing this makes me feel like a programmer Vegeta), but I'd be cool with bug reports, suggestions and forks
Boredom
Does anyone else pretend to be showing current-day stuff to someone from centuries (yes, more than one) ago that traveled through time when bored?
glomble
I didn't know how to write this so I'll be straightforward.
There's this video sharing website called Glomble and I wanted to show it to y'all because I think it's cool (and I share my Kasane Teto covers there)
i'm enjoying making stuff with kasane teto utau
i was going to post something else but i forgot what i was going to write, so i'll just let y'all know my head is no longer covered in bandages!
my head will be looking like an egg until friday
but i'm finally back home
about yesterday's post...
i DID finish the game!! and you can try it out right now!
web port's a lil funky but it works, and if it doesn't there's native linux, android and windows
now i can go back to thinking about the other game i want to make in the future as well as the sonic advance portreimplementation i have in the works currently
progress on a game i'm working on

i've began working on it 3 days ago, it's something really simple so i believe i'll get it done today (or whenever's the next time i work on it). all i think that's left is touch inputs since i want it to be playable on mobile as well.
also, i kinda had to add more stuff to del-exec, specifically...

seeing a point in time that hasn't happened yet is probably going to be an issue, and "that's not guaranteed to happen" does not sit right with me, so i feel like the machine should be physically incapable of ever simulating events up to the future.
my solution: the machine is unable to simulate events that happen...
i never realized there are other people out there that thought about the same name as i did
happens, i guess
yesterday while chatting with a friend, i suddenly got an idea for a pretty simple game
right now i lack the motivation to start working on it, but with the current state of del-exec, i wouldn't need to add anything before starting work on the game
being able to make past posts public is awesome
feeling somewhat stupid for having a completely invisible tile being drawn and having its collision checked
no wonder my phone wasn't running my sonic advance port at 60 fps
just changed the way audio works in my game engine
instead of oversimplifying stuff down to few functions, the coder (most of the time it's me) has more control over how everything works almost as if the lua scripts can interact with sdl_mixer directly
i'm very proud of it
also how did i never see the blog option when posting????
i dislike sonic advance 2 but i don't know why
can chromosomes be compared to preprocessor directives?
