i'm an amateur c++ and lua dev, and a sonic and touhou enjoyer. i'm also developing my own game engine named del-exec, which i intend on using it for original stuff and sonic fangames. thanks for stopping by!
feeling somewhat stupid for having a completely invisible tile being drawn and having its collision checked
no wonder my phone wasn't running my sonic advance port at 60 fps
just changed the way audio works in my game engine
instead of oversimplifying stuff down to few functions, the coder (most of the time it's me) has more control over how everything works almost as if the lua scripts can interact with sdl_mixer directly
i'm very proud of it
also how did i never see the blog option when posting????
i dislike sonic advance 2 but i don't know why
fictional time travel idea i've had for a while:
a machine makes a snapshot of the world in a period in time and simulates it
let's say it took a snapshot in 2015, and a person wants to see 2016, the machine simulates 1 year of time in a few seconds to catch up, and there would be zero difference to what actually happened in reality until a person from reality interacts with the simulated world
how the machine works or looks like, i have no idea :D
i wonder if i can make something with this idea?
