Im writing a paper on UNIX for school and want to write from a college/uni students perspective.

I use linux as my main os and do cybersecurity but have one specific question and didnt wanna use AI or google for this but ask real humans. So my question is:

In the 70s what did most college and university students that used UNIX or at the time UNICS i think study like what was their major etc?
