Forgive the repost; I wrote this before Cyberspace could blog, so now I plan to slowly blog (and add to) this series.

0. The Fool

The Fool is an ancient baby. Living in cycles but always finding himself at the beginning.

Often seen as a mirror to XIII. Death; The Fool is driven to experience.

Newly crystallized from radiance, the limits of the material world are still new to him. He walks in the clouds with his gaze to the stars. The wandering prince archetype, enticed to climb The Mountain upon seeing the light of IX. The Hermit.

An emblem of potential. Where ambition is too confined, The Fool finds freedom. He has no fixed goal or destination. He is breathing golden air while walking off a cliff.

His clothing references true will, The Green Man, innocence, etc.

On his shoulders he carries a sack of his future experience supported by his desire. He doesn’t know the contents, but he can feel their weight.
