so many phones and no one to call

been trying to find the "perfect" dumbphone for the last several years, and now that a company is basically holding my phone number hostage i feel well and truly done. i want to time travel back to 2015 when I had my tiny little iphone 4 and it did all the necessary smartphone things but didn't get in the way like my giant s22 does now. but also it's like pulling teeth to set up plans with friends, and even the eldest of millenials hate talking on the phone (despite growing up doing it). bah! i want no phone at all. send me a carrier pigeon or lose my address.

this is truly a venus + mercury retrograde and being in libra in my 11th is too on the nose. reevaluating how i communicate with friends (；_；)
