Videogame OST of the day: #19 5/10/2026

Under the Rotting Pizza by Nobuo Uematsu for the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack.

I listened the fuck out of this song for a long time when i was younger, i bought final fantasy 7 for my nintendo switch and i couldn't put it down. Until i did, cos i did get bored. Thats just what being young and inept does to you I suppose.

Regardless this song is so great, I think the general vibe of the song, the synth bass, those harp plucks and the drums all tie together to make you feel like you're living under a giant corporate mega-structure, you don't get sunlight and your environment is polluted. Songs that give off a terrible atmosphere shouldn't have the right to go as hard as this one does.
