[ESC]Hey, if you're thinking about getting a QWERTY phone this year, like the Clicky Communicator or the Zinwa Q25 (also known as the Blackberry Q25), I've got some thoughts to share with you.
Don't fall for the lie. They're making it seem like a physical keyboard is the key to digital minimalism.
They started their campaign with slogans like "Bring Back Blackberry" (https://www.bringbackblackberry.com/). But they ended up releasing their own device that just wasn't as good as the old Blackberrys. The devices do have a QWERTY keyboard, but that's about it.
The fact that these devices run on Android is a total nightmare. It's something the original company tried to avoid as much as possible.
I started looking into the topic because I was curious about what was even possible.
I put way too much time into a topic. A lot of people said it was impossible to run WhatsApp, and some were even trying to make a profit. I'm pretty sure that the least people will ever follow these guides.
Even so, I'll finish up my latest notes and post them for anyone looking for some motivation to do things where there's too much enthusiasm or for some crazy, like-minded folks to use as a reference for future projects.
