DISCUSSION:

When will we stop viewing an LLM as a bad thing? In your career, the next big thing that could replace you is always around the corner.

When I started my computer science major, ChatGPT was released three months later. I have been using LLMs since the beginning of my career. I have never used Stack Overflow. Despite this, I have taught myself complex concepts, learned three programming languages, delivered projects used by others, switched from Microslop to NixOS, and accomplished many other exciting feats.

Is my life built on Slop? Am I Slop? Maybe. But what you call "Slop" existed long before LLMs took over. It was called "greed" or "capitalism." Don't hate the player, hate the system.

In my honest opinion: Those who wanted slop in the first place will get slop. If you care about quality, you'll find it one way or another.

I would love to hear other people's views. :)
