Six Guys

A 16 minutes long animated horror short-film of great quality. Manages to be tense, scary, mysterious. Featuring a protagonist who keeps his mind about him.

Strongly recommended.

?Spoilers? (More detailed thoughts on the animation)

There's a lot to like about this one. The monsters are weird and creative. At the same time the MC walks the fine line between being competent while also still being scared and impulsive. The general atmosphere combined with the rapid fire events create that certain experience that drives my enjoyment of a lot of horror media, where you have vague impressions of what is happening and what it means and it affects you but you only have the time to put it all together afterwards. (This was also big with Signalis)
Also, I have a thing for that trope wherein engagement with the weird and supernatural colors off on you, causing you yourself to emerge changed.
