"Hi, I was reading a book about the history of my own country and I learned that Cyrus the Great was the king of these territories:
š Asia ā Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan (central and eastern parts of the empire); Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine/Israel (Mesopotamia and the Levant, including Babylon, Assyria, and Phoenicia); Turkey, the Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) ā Anatolia and the Caucasus (including Lydia, Urartu, and parts of Greece); and parts of India as far east as the Indus River.
š Europe ā parts of Greece (Greek colonies in Asia Minor, modern-day western Turkey).
š Africa ā Egypt, parts of Libya, and parts of Sudan (including Egypt, Cyrenaica/Barca, and Nubia).
After reading this book, I am proud to be Iranian. Also, Cyrus wrote the first charter of human rights. For more information, go and do your own research."
