If anyone is missing the good old browser MMOs, I've been having fun in Torn (originally Torn city) for a while now. You can try it out here.

It's a game mainly about criminals and crime. You can do all kinds of illegal activities to make money. There is also a pretty active trading element to the game, although people are not always so hardcore about it, so I had more success (and fun) making small investments than in other, more hardcore trading games.

There is also a...

Funniest thing I saw today: Wayland Compositor in Minecraft. (≧▽≦)

Finally decided to do something with the root domain of my "indie website", as I have a lot of ideas what to put there, I just didn't know what kind of style I wanted. WIP version is up now, but it's currently messed up on mobile screen.
Source engine/Hammer editor fans will like it!

Also, try to resize it. :)

Anyone here a fan of the Mistborn series from Brandon Sanderson?

I started listening to a lecture series of Sanderson about writing Fantasy and Science Fiction books not long ago. Mostly so I get better in game mastering TTRPG but I also have an idea for a fantasy novel. I was so inspired by the lecture that I actually started writing it!

Anyway, back to Mistborn, Sanderson talks about it a lot in his lectures (like as an example to some of his writing techniques) and I was pretty curious about it. I...

Did anyone ever try to build (buy any good/cheep) wearable display? I had a wearable computer/cyberdeck idea at one point a few years ago, but I never got to the point to build the most important part of it: the wearable display.

I remember trying to follow one of Manollo Mancelli's video (great channel btw), but I couldn't buy the viewfinder display because it was out of stock.

I was looking for a lower resolution one, because I'm expecting to mostly...

Why you should follow me:

• I'm drawing a lil xkcd inspired comic series called Life through monochrome glasses (although the title is not public yet, it's coming in the next issue :D)
• I'm writing a lil blog called yggrasil, where I post mostly about my tech projects, but I plan to do more offline stuff as well
• my root...

Free game alert: Graveyard Keeper basegame is 100% off on Steam for 2 more days. I've been eyeing with this game for a while now!

Anyone played it before?

I don't really follow AI news, so I just received the information that Sora is being shut down (or is already?) from the latest ColdFusion video.

I hope the bubble will burst soon. This is a pretty shitty dystopia we're living in currently. Not the cool kind where you eat ramen in china town at the middle of a rainy night in a trench coat.

Is anyone else here a fan of The Binding of Isaac?

It's been one of my favorite games from the first time I played the flash version. It's also been a long time bucket list entry for me to 100% the (new) game completely. After many hundred hours, I'm finally closing in on the goal.

I have all of the challenges and most difficult characters fully completed. Only a few of the easier tainted characters are left.

PS.: I've started playing Mewgenics as well (another game from the same...

Hello world! Making my first public post so I can feature my Cyberspace profile on my website! :D
