In a free day, keep the dev books, IA, Google, and anything far away from you.

Start any project you want in Basic, Cobol, Fortran, C, Java, whatever..

And give a f*** to any good practice, any clean code or architecture, whatever.

Don't create test class, don't use boilerplates, don't worry about complexity layers, just don't give a f***. Forget design patterns. Design anything corporate-free. Free of judgemental looks. Free of libraries and dependences.

Just focus on create something nice, a music player, a chat client, something that writes truths in your face everyday after a cron. Don't matter. Just do something that works and you wanted it.

Do some anarchist spaghetti thing that actually works, all from your brain. Database? No, just put everything in memory, in plaintext...just don't care.

One single f***ing project that coming from the hell side of your brain.

It's like a "clean cache" in the brain.

Don't matter if your are a beginner, senior or whatever. Just do this. Use code and brain, pure and simple. Disinfect yourself from the companies playbook for a while.
