Today has been a lovely day off work. Today was a self care kind of day. Went to the hair dressers, had a fantastic re-style and a head and neck massage, it was divine. It really relaxed my soul. Followed by a to my local record shop and finally picked up Killing Jokes first album on vinyl, plus Lords of the New Church and another random record. Then I met an old friend for a wander around the city, took in the sites of the city views and canals. I did some more retail therapy, ate some great food. Then home to potter about my flat. I may be in a lot of physical pain, but I'm happy today.

My feet are finally up, I have ginger tea and listening to a podcast on New Orleans vampires. Now time for snacks!
