Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce my new server from the "Good Enough™" lineup. It was slapped together using literally anything I could scavenge from my cave. The specs: an i5-3570k, 16GB of 1600MHz RAM, a 120GB SATA SSD, and two 480GB SATA SSDs. Powering this beast is a be quiet! System Power 9 600W (80 Plus Bronze Age). Don’t ask about the liquid cooling or the case: they were just lying around, and hey—I’m an artist, this is my vision.

It’s got two extra NICs crammed inside, giving me a grand total of three ethernet ports for absolving sins and accepting packets. The main purpose of this monstrosity is to act as a network gateway and replace my home router. Why? Because I didn’t feel like dropping 12k rubles on a new one, but I did feel like torturing some hardware. The whole thing runs on Debian 13 (aka Debian the Unlucky), purely because I felt like it. Later on, the drives will serve as long-term music storage (a media center) with barely any rewrites, so the SSDs won't be dying anytime soon. I also underclocked the CPU into oblivion, capping it at 1.60GHz per core. And that’s it—say hello to the coolest router in the Wild Wild West.

Дамы и господа, представляю вашему вниманию сервер серии "И так сойдёт!". Собирался вообще из всего, что было в наличии в моей берлоге, а именно: i5 3570k, 16Gb Ram 1600Mhz, 120Gb SSD sata + 2x 480Gb SSD sata, Be Quiet 9 600wtt 80 бронзовый век. Про воду и корпус не спрашивайте: оно было в наличии и я художник, я так вижу.
Внутри дополнительно 2 сетевых карточки, итого 3 разъёма на сеть для отпущения грехов и принятия пакетов. Основная цель сего — сетевой шлюз и замена домашнему роутеру, ибо покупать новый за 12 тысяч не захотелось, а захотелось насиловать железо. Всё настроено на 13ом Дебиле, просто потому что. В дальнейшем диски будут использоваться под длительное хранилище музыки (под медиацентр) без особой перезаписи, поэтому SSD не помрут. Частота камню порезана в пол, чтобы выше 1600Ghz на ядро не давал и всё: это самый холодный роутер на всём диком западе.
