[ESC]Learning Wireshark
I've been using Wireshark off an on for many years but never took the time to actually learn it. When I came upon a course on Udemy, I decided it was about time.
In the first few lessons I had a completely different understanding of what it does. How you're able to filter things makes sifting through packets so much easier.
So now that I've gotten through it all, I'll be enabling a span port on my switch to check out the traffic that's coming through. Since I run a BBS and a few Minecraft servers in my homelab, I've been wanting to see if the network is serving their data stream properly. I have a suspicion there's a latency or two in the mix that I may be able to remove.
The course I chose was Getting Started with Wireshark: The Ultimate Hands-On Course
