WASTE Linux Update:

• The installer works
• The Waste Package Manager (wpkg) is working

I only have four packages in the repo: file, xz, make, and lua. There will be more, but it'll only be the packages that I want, and not what others will necessarily need.

WASTE Linux is built from the ground up around a small Linux kernel (Linux 7.1.5), BusyBox, musl libc, and a selection of additional tools. The current system uses an x86_64 kernel with a very minimal tinyconfig setup. Only kernel features that are required by the system, and the software added afterwards.

WASTE Linux isn't intended to be a small distro for the sake of being small. WASTE already has networking, ssh, wget, vim, tmux, htop, and a writable live filesystem. You don't even need to install WASTE to use it. WASTE can boot on systems with 32MB of RAM, and currently uses 11MB of RAM at boot, and that's with htop and the ssh server running.

WASTE Linux is built around a simple principle: Start with the essentials, keep control of the system, and add only what I need.
