[ESC]Artificial Intelligence, Real Addiction
A.I. addicts. They're here. They're not going away. It's going to be a massive problem for social development once we reach pandemic levels of A.I. addiction. Minds starving for that next hit of information, for that next biased confirmation, for that next blurb of generative text to hit their nervous system. It's going to be a problem. It's already a problem, but it's going to be a bigger problem before anyone does something to prevent it. Have you seen how an angst-filled child will act if you take away their video games? Imagine an entire civilization plagued with adult versions of that. It's not coming in the future, it's not something we need to get ready for... it's already here. You need to be wary of that possibility now, the possibility that you will one day be an A.I. addict, and there's not really much you can do to stop yourself once you climb too far down the rabbit hole.
