Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you The Secret Ingredient for not-spending-a-kidney-on-a-RAM-kit : IT'S CRIME JANK! Behold, the SODIMM-DIMM adapter!

You absolutely could spend nearly 400€ on a 2x16GB DDR5 kit... or you could take it to eBay, buy laptop memory for half of the price, grab a couple adapters off your preferred chinese lowcost website, plop that right in and enjoy!

Now, you won't be getting top performance with this, expect between JEDEC and spicy JEDEC performance, there's probably some tuning to be done for advanced users but eh...

In my case, I got VERY lucky and caught a 2x16 DDR5 SODIMM kit for 120€ & a duo of adapters for an extra 20, basically what it should have costed me before the RAMaggeddon.
