GeekCube Prototype #003 // another make-or-break printing experiment

After doing some more refining touches on the CAD work of the case and PSU holder, adding a bunch of things I really needed to properly assemble everything into a final, functional design, I launched the 30h print job of the case and BOY am I hoping this will turn out well because this chonky fucko will gulp down A WHOLE SPOOL (~1kg) to get squeezed out of the printer...

Now, I did prepare in advance and order some spools but I only got three of PETG, one of which I already tapped into for testing, so really I only get two attempts at most (though I can always order a new spool for about 20€)

I reckon I probably could have tested some more but looking at the results of the tests, I trust the hardware enough, let's hope I was right in doing so... If the printing goes well, then I'll be able to then print the PSU holder and the airduct shrouds, the RGB bar cover and mount everything that needs to be mounted, pass the cables that need to be passed through, install my PS5's secondary SSD as the Cube's secondary SSD, update the Cube's SteamOS install (got a new stable release with native RDNA4 support from the updated kernel version, yay!)

I just hope that I'll be able to do all of the above before next week, because it increasingly looks like Valve is prepping up the Steam Machine's launch and I want to get my Cube up and running before theirs lol
