I think I have lost a little bit of self respect while trying to see the good/hoping for a change in others.

I felt like I was waiting for someone to show that they cared for me beyond the surface. I was desperately clutching onto that hope so much that I completely missed all the times they were showing me they didn’t care.

After kinda snapping out of it, it’s a little embarrassing and humiliating.(‘’•᷄‎ ᴗ•᷅)
