Linux for the collage win

Its the year of the linux desktop!

I started collage a day ago, and today i have a complete victory across the board.

The class was introduction to networking, and i was the only chad running the gnu.

My teacher on Zoom wanted the class to install virtualbox and install windows server 2019.

I installed virtual box via app image, and the teach shared his screen. He began launching the windows VM after allocating resources and i was following along on my Linux machine. His eventually froze up and other students in person has finished booting. But the teachers still froze after a short while, he then asked "Can anybody on Zoom share there screen so we can show the class what its supposed to look like". I of course volunteered, and shared only my VM window, earlier in the course somebody accidentally shared there birthday and part of there address while signing up for a program. So HEHEEEEE NOPE NOPE NOPE, share only the window with the VM.
The VM fired right up! and was installed in less than 10 minutes! The teacher asked what my system specs were? Because he was impressed how fast it loaded, he then instructed me in what to type in and what to click. As it was for demonstrating for my fellow peers and i frankly dont know anything about windows server.

I kinda thought i would hate networking, because its alot of boring numbers and routing stuff.
But the teacher is SO MUCH FUN!
NGL going to collage i for sure thought there would be some baked in professors that would glaze Google and Microsoft.

But the teacher complemented linux on using less system resources and i qoute "the only reason we use windows server is because we get it free" which NGL is so fucking based.

SUCH a sickass professor, and am honestly excited for his next class!

I helped out alot in class, which i really dont mind doing!
The computers the school gave him was quite slow, and its an honor to be the genie pig!
I have also done quite a bit of virtual machines in my free time, so i know vmware and virt-manager like the back of my hand.

I dont know why but i really like my professors i have currently, there very friendly and not sitting there waiting to rail your grade to an F.
