Just so people know substack.com is not a good place to host your content. When Australia introduced the under-16 social media ban substack complied early and entirely locked us out of our accounts until we submitted to their AI age verification. Not only did we lose access to the substacks that we follow and subscribe to we can't even delete our accounts until we age verify. It is a complete clusterfuck that will no doubt spread to more places as more jurisdictions copy and implement their own versions of our stupid law.

Don't believe the bullshit substack say about owning your audience, a bunch of substacks have lost me and a lot of other people from their audience. And if you are a content creator I expect they will lock you out of your account too, until you comply.
