Finally decided on hitchhiking

So my gf and I have finally decided on hitchhiking through Argentina. We're starting (may change) from El Chalten in Patagonia. Hopefully we find great adventures in our way.

This is crazy because this is not just a trip, it's a complete change in lifestyle.

I already traveled like this back in 2016. One year. By myself. Of course this time is different because I have a partner. And she never did something like this.

And that brings us to a bunch of feelings. We've been a mess lately, both of us. Her main problem is her job, mine is not having one. We've been a mess of feelings because of all the uncertainty. We both knew and know very well what it is to be a hitchhiker and all the uncertainty that comes along, but it still brings fear and emotions to our hearts.

We still feel this is the correct decision. This year was trash for our country and our province was hit hard. We can't find any other way, and she needs to see the world before we start thinking about parenting. It's a convoluted situation, but we appreciate it still.

We are planning a ton and thinking thoroughly about all the things and measures we must take. The computer/laptop issue is the one we've been struggling most with. We still haven't figured out what we should take with us both for work and editing (we're planning on making an instagram account for recording our trip). We've also talked about the possibility of bringing an E-reader (yes, we thought about the latest trendy one we've seen everywhere these days. The xteink X3 but we haven't wrapped our minds around that yet).

Anyhow, hope you're all doing great. And if you ever think about hitchhiking: yes, do it. It's awesome. Yes, Argentina is great for hitchhiking. Yes, even if you're black or indigenous (like myself)
