Hi everybody!
I'm an indie game designer, mostly focusing on pen-and-paper table-top RPGs and card-based board games. I've collected quite a significant amount of interesting game mechanics and design philosophies during the years, and I'm now in the process of consolidating some of them into playable stand-alone games.

I'm currently working on the 3rd iteration of a ttrpg I started 5-ish years ago called Nous. The basic idea is to have a narrative-focus modular TPG (á-la-GURPS) while trying to avoid the bloat and optimizing for clarity of presentation and simplicity in onboarding new players.

I already have spent few days refining the structure for the rulebook contents, going back and forth between structure definition and few notes regarding content direction.

Today I've started focusing on content production (just names, rules and mechanics for now, no description or fluff) with the goal of having a first draft of the rules as soon as possible to start playtesting with my group.

I'm now sitting at 6 chapters finished out of 18.

Today was great!
