I've written 1400+ words for my story so far, which isn't really a lot, but I did it within the course of the past two days and I'm proud of it either way compared to my previous 0!
Scheduled things with a psychiatrist, and my Japanese studies have been going well enough I'll probably need to get a textbook now.
I think I'm worse with people than I used to be, but I'm trying my best even when it gets ugly and I'm proud of that too.
Listened to High Noon Over Camelot by The Mechanisms and was left greatly disappointed. Felt like an Arthur story without the drama, Arthur's not a hypocrite he's just got a low perception of everything, and there is no Caliburn or Excalibur or Morgan Le Fay, it's just Galahad/Percival/Bors' quest for the Holy Grail with Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot painted as a throuple slapped over them.
It didn't feel Arthurian to me, it felt like those quirky yet pretentious Tumblr reinterpretations of stories you see...
Please make communities. Go to your local library, ask the old ladies if they want to organize, if they need work done, whatever it is. Do some inconvenient work, and they'll do inconvenient work for you. A lot of people in the libraries are dying out, it's up to all of us to keep them going. Organized people are harder to control and nicer with each other.
