Been jamming to this since release a little under 2 weeks ago. Its amazing what modern tools and deep understanding can create. Au5 has been doing this for a little over a decade now; Alongside others in the scene that have been at it as long with such a deep understanding of the DAW's and sound itself, its amazing to see the progression in music as a whole. These artists, with modern tools, are capable of expressing ideas clearer then ever, shaping effects into anything mathematically possible, and turn what was months of work in the 90's, into 20 quick minutes. Now imagine what can be created if they still spend months. The only genuine limit, due to hardware and software progressing as well as peoples' knowledge, is time. Modern projects (particularly EDM) have up to hundreds of layers and tracks, something that was impossible to render decades ago. highlights of this EP are "Light, Sound, Form" being an incredible opener, "Superliminal" bringing a simple 3 tone rhythm/jingle/melody really far, and "Astralize" for its subtlety, patience and atmosphere.
