First steps here - hello world

Good day to you all,

From a life addicted to screens and scrolling, I venture forth into the land of better internet.

Today, I turned 30 and, after working on some basic shifts, thought it time to finally post a diary-like journal here. Feel free to ask, comment and discuss any and all of it.

Currently done:

• Shifted entirely to linux, even on my macbook (work computer, thank you Asahi project).
• Using a dumbphone as a daily driver and a LineageOS smartphone for WhatsApp (family all over the world) and my watch app (Coros for sport)
• Music now entirely provided by CDs, Vinyls or ripped of those to a Hiby R3ProII DAP.
• Fell into the rabbit hole of IEMs
• Shifted all digital presence to a personal, static HTML, website.

Done today:
bought my first ESP32 LoRa cards to set up Meshtastic nodes. Going to try and build one onto a solar panel I have lying around (need to learn how first).

Future plans :

• build a cyberdeck using an old RpI 2b I have
• Learn to code better
• Try and help develop and/or support projects I love
