Wow - A Title. That's New.

I can't believe it's been almost two months since I left for my last assignment.

As always when this happens, I come back to a world changed in subtle ways, and I'm still in the "OK, what's different" phase of returning to the real world. Nearly two months of being head down over complex systems hardware without access to the outside world has made me slightly feral, and it has taken me a moment to get to a place where I can say hello to my people again.

Hello, my people.

Looks like a lot of things have changed around here while I was walking through the spiderwebs. I hope all of you have had something good happen to you while I was away. I'm slowly but surely making my way through the news backlog, and will likely have something more substantial to say when I'm finished, probably in a day or two.

In the meantime, I'm up far too late (fuck jetlag) and drinking tea. Which is a thing I really have to stop doing.

P.S. So far, no goons have come to rough me up for my suitcase, so that's a plus.
