cyberpunk in real life (not sidequest related)

someone had a post about how we are entering the cyberpunk era but without the cool stuff, and I couldn’t have agreed more.

It seems like the only people really making anything new or interesting are just nerdy regular people with enough cash and time lying around, meanwhile corporations just buy new inventions, make them shittier and post them everywhere so a bank can look at them and give then a loan which they then just flip to make enough profit to buy another company and rinse and repeat.

anyhow i was wondering if people would be down for some sort of discord (or something) dedicated to making cyberpunk shit real, whether that be within code, physical inventions, open source games etc. it would probably be super gatekept and only for mfs from here because discord has enough bot issues and also bc the people here are way cooler than anyone else.

It would be open for any coders and inventors but also people who like cyberpunk narratives who could perhaps inspire those who create by giving suggestions and posting ideas. I’d also like it to be a place for noobs to learn how to build and code some of these ideas.
