Lost #001

Back when they were young and trapped in an institution that contained individuals who were more sure in who they were, had confidence that they wished they could have. But in truth that was what is seemed, rather than what it was. As who can know what occurs in others minds? No-one.

Everyone has their own worlds, we are constantly come in and out of orbit of each other. With the potential to make changes to each others systems. An asteroid, a fly off comment, a joke, from one individual could impact the ecosystem of another individuals world, sending it off-kilter. These asteroids may or may not have intention behind them but who is at fault for the fallout? The affecter or the effected? Can one be blamed for the reaction of another? or for the reaction one has?

A friendship involved an individual who enjoyed making lewd jokes and and an individual who was made uncomfortable by them. Is it the formers job to restrain themselves from doing something they enjoy to make someone else more comfortable or the latters job to stay uncomfortable? Or would the best solution to be for them both to come to an agreement to work on it together?
