need advice

I've really lost my purpose, or i never had one. I just graduated hs and my family is pressurizing me to get a job or whatever, i always had interests in computers mainly in operating systems. I would like to have a job around my interest. I assume there are a lot of people employed in IT field. I did some research and thought i can be a sysadmin (im open to suggestions)

I was looking for suggestions from people who work in IT or had any past experience with it,
What job i should target with which i can land a job, remotely or on-site?

Im willing to spend 1-1.5 years working/studying/getting certs
