Today quite odd thing had happened to me: I was going home after getting a package, and I've outpaced two same age girls as me. I was listening music but with only 1 ear, and so I did noticed by their reaction that my rather unique clothing fashion peaked their curiosity and so I did realized that they were recording a telegram message. I've added a speed ever so slightly to check what's gonna happen, and so I hear how they flap closer to me.

Recorded me for abit and one of them got courage to talk to me, for first she did asked me "do I need a job", because she is casually attaching flyers everywhere. This type of job not really known to me, all I heard is "An office work, you don't gotta do anything besides talking to russians and scamming them, with 16k uah salary, and there is some way to get 1k USD monthly or like within year (didn't catch that)". Now, I am not stranger to do grey stuff, but the "schemes" is not something I prefer to do, because my current position of being a student in university and so on, allows me to create some projects for myself first, and for my portfolio second, so I am not into a job such as this, and end up seemingly being angry / negative in my refusal about it.

In short, the job recruitment had failed, yet they were curious about my outfit (a Majima jacket, chain, some cool rings and snake bracelet, blue plaid pants, crocs bt21, no shirt underneath). And one if them suggested "do you wanna get to know each other", and my life wasn't readying for this moment. There were a few paths I could take, but I did end up agreeing in most basic of them all form, by replying with "I am not that good IRL", because me outside is a totally different person. So we did exchanged Telegram profiles, and during that, they made me to answer questions they got about me, and I didn't even asked a name of these girls, that's how all of the attention is focused onto mine final destination.

Considering that, me being an almost cold-like person outside IRL, without getting to know even a person name, seemingly looking be rude in my refusal for job with explaining how scheme-like is not my type, I feel like I am the one who now shoot a message first, because they did their turn IRL already, and logically I gotta be next one who shows initiative, because I do appreciate the initiative that they get up and started talking to me, they chose to take things at their own hands and I really respect it.

The thing that bothers me the most is that girl who we've exchanged Telegram profiles, firstly had a profile pic, around 14 pfps uploaded and publically visible telegram channel, after some time later that day, I didn't saw a PFP, different nickname, "online long time ago" (it couldn't be more than day), no public group in bio, but I am able to message. Am I overreacting or does it mean she trying to hide something unwanted for me / blocked me, in case of me tooking a bait of get into contact with her or not?

My logical path is: "Hm, a grey scheme, it's already a shady business type of stuff, how is it can be a reliable thing or some place with truth inside? I am not trusting shady business."

"Do they started talk to me because I look cool or they wanted to hire someone?".

"Why is the PFP gone, nickname changed to something familiar, and I am not able to see the group, was it because of me not messaging at all and not tooking the bait?"

"I found her Instagram page, and SHE do be following on some guy that looks like a potential BF. Does that mean she tries to hook with someone else on the side or not?"

Am I being too paranoid and overreacting or is the gals simply wanted to see who the hell this Mr fancy pants is?

I am not opposed to dates and relationships, but it's something that is NOT on my priority list at all. So I wasn't flying and shi around the girls, a simple and straightforward answers. Do you guys think I should message her?
