Wanted to make a post here to share progress on the 3d daw my friend and I have been working on.

It's been about a year since we started our music software called Severe. It's supposed to be a videogame-like daw for non-serious music production. We're designing a lot of the plugins to be like videogames and added real time collaboration so you can make songs with friends. It's still super buggy and the interface is a bit clunky with the camera so rather than keep trying to hunt for all the bugs we felt like just letting people complain at us to fix them is the better way. So if you do (or would like to try) making music please lmk if you'd like to try it and give us some feedback. In the future we plan to open up vst hosting and also let users develop their own 2d/3d plugins for the daw. Rn we only have mac and windows versions but if enough people (2) express interest I'll drop everything and port it to Debian/Ubuntu right now.
