HDMI-CEC 3 & more

Been busy lately! Did some ordering around online, got several ESP32s, a couple of HDMI Male-to-Female breakout boards, and decided to treat myself with an Apple Magic Trackpad, and a Uni Kuru Toga Roulette.

Haven't gotten the mechanical pencil yet or the HDMI breakout boards, but I did get the ESP32s and the trackpad. The trackpad is dope, works perfectly with my Linux PC, even wirelessly. Bluetooth and Linux haven't always played the nicest with each other.

Once I get the HDMI breakout boards, I'll solder together the few pins that I need, then hand it off to a buddy of mine to take care of making an enclosure/case for it. I linked to a Github in one of my earlier posts, where a very smart person has already made the libraries I should need.

I'm still working my way through the first book for He Who Fights with Monsters. Started a little rough, but has definitely improved overall. Very similar feel to Dungeon Crawler Carl while still being very much its own series.

I'm torn on whether or not I want to upgrade my Kobo. I have the Clara Color now, but the Libra is calling to me. I really don't need two e-readers though, one is working just fine for me. I'm also starting to become interested in Koreader. It's an alternate 'reader' for e-readers that may have some extra features that can sync better with Calibre, even over-the-air.

I had also ordered a new Ethernet cable, braided of course thanks to my monster cat. Once I get the gumption to run that where I need it, I'll have my Raspberry Pi up and running and I can try my hand at homelabbing again. I'd love to get the Automated Ripping Machine (ARM), Jellyfin, and Calibre running to start. If I get into the HomeAssist nonsense, I could tie in my HDMI-CEC thingy for reasons.

As always, open for discussion and collaboration on anything mentioned within. Love y'all, byee!
