Good news, I'm an idiot!

After reviewing the github paged mentioned previously in my HDMI-CEC obsessed posts, I've come to the realization that this might not be built to do what I want. I believe I understand now that the goal of the github project is to send hdmi-cec controls downstream of the ESP32 to other devices through the TV, not necessarily allow HDMI-CEC over USB.

With that said, I don't think this is a dead end. I'm fairly certain I can use this as a starting point to make it do what I want. Even if it's as simple as turning hdmi-cec commands into keyboard presses, at the end of the day, it'll do what I want.

This isn't rocket surgery, shouldn't be too hard to figure out. But even so, I'm just a simple, astonishingly handsome man with a dream. An old dog trying to learn new tricks with very little foundation to build upon. Gotta start somewhere though, right?
