Hey, I'm Basil. I'm a self-taught artist that loves all sorts of random techy bits. I'm not a particularly skilled coder, but I usually integrate something from the world of retro computing to my works if I can help it. I do not like what the modern internet had become, so I am very on board with this site. Don't expect me to post stuff often, but if something's relevant I'll go for it! Cyberdeck progress!
Amazingly, I am actually doing something right lol
So I have most stuff, except a power supply and a case. The case I already have a decent idea for, but I gotta get my hands on an actual power supply for it. But I was thinking... I'm using a Rii Mini i8 keyboard for it, and it has an internal battery. I wonder if I can use it to power the RPi as well, somehow.
Got no idea how I'll pull that off, though.

Nothing terribly interesting, I've just finally had a chance to muck around with my new Raspberry Pi and actually start doing what I wanted with the software side of things to make my little cyberdeck. The screen will be here soon, so after that I just gotta hope the fan and power supply won't take a while to get here. I plan on making a wooden case for it, since I have access to a laser cutter and I am certified in using one. Or at least make the front from wood. We'll see.
