Hey, I'm Basil. I'm a self-taught artist that loves all sorts of random techy bits. I'm not a particularly skilled coder, but I usually integrate something from the world of retro computing to my works if I can help it. I do not like what the modern internet had become, so I am very on board with this site. Don't expect me to post stuff often, but if something's relevant I'll go for it! Making a TTRPG.
So as part of my usual distractions and ADHD tomfoolery, I'm coming up with the foundations of a tabletop RPG. It's about war robots in a post-human earth, but I'll elaborate on it later.
Anyways, anyone has any resources or useful stuff to keep in mind when designing it all? I'd love any help.

Nothing like learning that the country I looked to as an option to move to had some medical staff outright killing people of my race. Guess that's off the fucking table. It's not that hard to treat people equally regardless of their disposition. I know it's just like two people but the entire world feels like it's just becoming more radical by the second towards everyone and anyone. ugh
Cyberdeck progress!
Amazingly, I am actually doing something right lol
So I have most stuff, except a power supply and a case. The case I already have a decent idea for, but I gotta get my hands on an actual power supply for it. But I was thinking... I'm using a Rii Mini i8 keyboard for it, and it has an internal battery. I wonder if I can use it to power the RPi as well, somehow.
Got no idea how I'll pull that off, though.

Nothing terribly interesting, I've just finally had a chance to muck around with my new Raspberry Pi and actually start doing what I wanted with the software side of things to make my little cyberdeck. The screen will be here soon, so after that I just gotta hope the fan and power supply won't take a while to get here. I plan on making a wooden case for it, since I have access to a laser cutter and I am certified in using one. Or at least make the front from wood. We'll see.
