Windows Sucks...

Tried to rip my CDs today so I could move the files onto my mp3 player... but the media player in widnows doesn't read the meta data and doesn't allow for ripping so I had to use my old Windows XP computer to rip the files and then format them into mp3s (didn't allow me to do .wav..)

Anyways, I tried using picard to get the cover art for the meta data but the app isn't very intuitive and wouldn't let me move the files to my computer or the player (not sure why..) just ended giving up...

before you ask , NO, I don't want to pirate stuff off some sketchy website when I already have the CDs.. I just want to rip them for safe keeping and have em on my player..

Any recommendations on a good CD rip program???? (I may as well use youtube music and hopefully they give me a free trial so I can just download the music files that way.. idk)
