ENTRY
[ESC]I've finally started reading Feersum Endjinn, a book I got a while because I heard that it was one of the inspirations behind Blame. And yeah, it does have its own megastructure.
So far each chapter had a different PoV character.
The first chapter was from the perspective of someone who seemingly was only just created by some mechanism, and then immediately spat out of a building wall into an open field(?). Consequently there was a lot of scattered thoughts and grasping for the right words, which becomes gradually clearer as things move along.
Chapters two and three have normal sounding narrators, just people.
The fourth chapter was what really surprised me, because it's written in a strange way where instead of normal writing, it uses letters, numbers, symbols and weirdly written words, which when read out loud sound mostly like the English we know (or at least a particular accent of it). It's a bit hard to follow, but not that hard. Haven't finished the chapter yet.
