[ESC]I previously wrote about how I sent my PC for repairs, and how the older laptop I used instead was broken and wouldn't even turn on. Well, after opening it up, I managed to get it to where it does turn on... but the screen remains black. There was already a problem before where sometimes the screen wouldn't get signal, and I suspect that in opening up the hull, I might have exacerbated the problem.
Bah.
I'll have to try and get my hands on an expernal monitor to check if that still works. If not...
Well, then I've got a box full of leftover components I guess, such as 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, which I assume is worth its weight in gold nowadays.
I'm now writing this post on an even older device still running Windows 7, and where most tabs take a minute or so to load, and sometimes it just freezes up. Ah well, so it goes.
